As my mom reminded me today, I am not really taking pictures of Abe like I took pictures of Adelaide. Geez, it's the second kid syndrome. I hope to get back to posting soon and hope to take some cute pictures of our little guy before his tiny little feet and hands grow any more.
Life has been an adjustment but I really can't complain much at all. Abe is an awesome baby and Adelaide is a great big sister even though her whining has hit an all time high. On Saturday I had an appointment with the lactation consultant and Abe weighed in at 8 lbs already. He's gaining about a pound a week. I'm hoping his appetite will curb soon and we start getting some more sleep around here. I was so spoiled with Adelaide; she was sleeping pretty long stretches at this point and started sleeping through the night at only 5 weeks. Abe's already almost 4 weeks old. I'm thinking I won't be so lucky this go 'round.

Kip started sleeping longer stretches - like more than waking to eat every 2-3 hours - a couple of weeks ago. Every baby is different and the time flies by. I know those are cliches, but they seem all the more true with the 2nd kiddo. Now show us some pictures! :)
wow! he's going to double his birth weight soon! we miss you...can't wait to meet Abe
